MDMUG Sixth Anniversary

General Meeting, November 13th - 6:00 PM

The Mount Dora Macintosh Users Group - (MDMUG) will be celebrating its Sixth Anniversary and you are invited to a very special meeting on Tuesday, November 13th, 2007.

This event will be held upstairs* at A Third Place Pub & Cafe at 12 E. Magnolia Avenue in Eustis, Florida.

This event is open to the public and there is no charge to attend.

• Beginner's session

MDMUG's continuing monthly video training using Lynda.com's "Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger Essential Training".

Q&A session - Bring your problems and we will try to solve them.

Apple News - We discuss any news from Apple and the world of Macintosh.

• General session

"Macintosh OS X 10.5 "Leopard" - A New Breed of Cat"

Jim Sanders, from Connecting Point Computers, an Authorized Apple Sales and Service center in Winter Park, Florida, will be doing a presentation showcasing Apple's new operating system.

"Filemaker Pro and Databases"

Dean Johnson, from Turbyne eBusiness Solutions in Gainesville, Florida, will be discussing Filemaker Pro and basic Database programming.

Additional subjects may be presented.

There will also be a raffle of many items provided by Lynda.com, NTI, Verbatim and many others. Tickets are just $10 each.
